LIFE IS A BATTLEFIELD
Life itself is a battlefield. A true soldier doesn't die in the battlefield. This is not time to freeze because of fear, in this phase, where much fear had gripped the world. A true soldier doesn't freeze from fear. No, he uses all the training, equipment, experience and teamwork skill to maximise his advantage over his enemy in the battlefield, to be victorious. Never fail God in any battle of your life. When you fail God, it is a sign of weakness. Remember David, when he faced Goliath (1 Samuel 17:1-25:7). Also, remember Joshua, when he won the Battle of Jericho (Joshua 5:13-6:27).
Winning every battle of your life should be your lifestyle. Jesus had given us that transcendent life, that life that knows no failure. Yes, it may look as if the battle is overwhelming, but the Bible made me know that all things are working together for your good (Romans 8:28). You can die by removing this physical jacket, which is the body but don't let your spirit die because when that happens, it is a total failure (Ephesians 6:10-18). Don't fail. Yes, there may be challenges in your life right now, all around the world as the world battles with this Pandemic. But you will emerge victorious if you fight the good fight and keep the faith (2 Timothy 4:7)!
There is flattening of economies, businesses, markets, jobs, companies and industries. Do not be troubled (John 14:1-3) You are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37); for Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the World. The true definition of you doesn't lie in what you have right now, but what is deposited in your spirit. God has given you more than enough of what you need to make it in life. All you have to do is when any side of your life is failing, dish out what you have on the inside of you. That is why, what you have on the inside matters. What are the things that you allows to enter into your spirit. That is why you should marry your Bible (the Word of God) daily because these are the things that you will be able to call upon in the days of troubles. When no one is there for you, when your friends forsake you and your relatives and your loved ones seem to be gone from your life, the Bible tells you to put on the Whole Armour of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Whenever you seem to be left alone to battle with challenges of life, don't fail God because He has already told you in His Word, that He is with you and He will fight your battles for you (Joshua 1:9; Exodus 14:14).
A true Soldier doesn't die in the spiritual battlefield of life. As our Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, always teaches, life is spiritual. You are a Soldier of Christ (2 Timothy 2:3). A soldier has the Word and Spirit of God and he can use the Name of Jesus - the Name above all other names (Philippians 2:9-10). He can get wounded and heal but he never to die in the battlefield (Psalm 118:17). Everything you will ever need for a successful journey on Earth has been given unto you. What has He not given you (Psalm 118:6)? He gave you Wisdom, He gave your mind to chart the course of your life and change it to what you want it to be (Isaiah 11:2). What more? He gave you strength, to carry with the battles of life (Proverbs 18:10). When you see your life getting weaker, you use strength from the inside of you (2 Timothy 1:7). That doesn't mean challenges won't come. Make no mistake about it, for God never promised us a life devoid of challenges. But He promised us that we will always overcome because He has overcome the World (John 16:33). For as He is, so are we in this World (1 John 4:17).
